About ALA Nutmeg

Since the ALA Nutmeg Chapter held its first meeting nearly 30 years ago, the organization has been focused on our mission to provide educational and professional development for all of our members. We are energized by discussing the situations that all legal administrators face, and by recommending practical solutions that lead to quality law firm management.

Chapter History

The Nutmeg Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was chartered in 1980 and today serves more than 120 members throughout Connecticut and western Massachusetts. Our members are legal administrators at private law firms, government agencies and corporate legal departments. The Chapter provides valuable information to current and prospective ALA members, lawyers, business partners, consultants and others who have an interest in the legal management profession. Our organization works to provide the best educational, networking and vendor/business partnering opportunities so local administrators can increase their knowledge and thrive as strong leaders in the legal industry.
