President's Letter
To All ALA Nutmeg Chapter Members,
As we strive individually to excel in our professionals, the Nutmeg Chapter is there to offer us assistance through its website, workshops, social events, newsletters and business partners. As members of the ALA Nutmeg Chapter, we have become reliant upon the various services provided by the Chapter. We all utilize different services. Some of us utilize the networking, forum and education workshops; while others rely more upon the website and newsletters. Let us not forget the advantages of having access to business partners that are willing sponsors of the Chapter. The goal is always the same-to become a better legal administrator.
As is true of any successful organization, the ALA Nutmeg Chapter could not exist without the participation of its members. Chapter involvement comes in many forms and at different levels. There are dedicated volunteers, who are frequently behind the scenes that spend 3 to 4 hours a week planning educational events preparing for board of directors meetings or creating newsletters. Others are working on a single project which requires only an hour or two per month. Getting involved is a wonderful way to network, learn and contribute your special talents. Feel free to contact me if you would like to explore volunteer opportunities.
